After my brother unexpectedly passed away in 2014, my sister and I took on the daunting task of going through his personal belongings. It was overwhelmingly happy and sad at the same time and I often wondered why we were chosen to do this awful thing.
As we went through the items, I kept mentioning to myself that this really isn’t that much fun: I didn’t know how much high-end fishing poles were worth; how much a boat cost; how I would sell a $30,000 camera lens that he had recently purchased.
So I had an idea. Maybe I could help others in similar situations to ease their pain by assisting them in downsizing their homes. Through this idea, Lala’s Estate Sales & Organizing was born! (Side note: my favorite niece and nephew, Megan and Matt, called me Lala because they couldn’t pronounce Lynne. So Lala stuck and hence became Lala’s Estate Sales & Organizing.
By hiring us, you can count on us to organize your items and post the inventory on Facebook and other social media platforms. We will communicate with you throughout the entire process. We will also present you with advice on selling items or passing them into family members since sometimes the sentimental value supersedes the desire to sell.
We can provide you with free estimates that will include dates and times that we would require to do the job. Cash payments are accepted as well as Venmo.

A: Yes we do! You order a dumpster and we can do it all for you.

Q: Do you get rid of custom or regular jewelry?
A: Yes, we have a few professional jewelers we hire to determine the price of the jewelry.
Q: Do I have to price everything myself?
A: No, we do the research and price items for you.
Q: Do I have to pay for advertising?
A: No, we have signs created and circulate them prior to the day of the sale.Ad to facebook marketplace and some local papers.
Q: How much do you charge?
A: We charge on a case-by-case basis and this is determined when we meet with you.
Q: Do you have insurance?
A: Yes, we are insured and LLC
Q: Do you have references?
A: We do have references for you.
Q: Can you organize us in the fall/winter months?
